I'm a photographer, a memory-capturer, a shutterbug... some might call it a passion... I might call it a slight obsession. Taking pictures of everything and anything, always having my camera around to capture the moment, especially my kids.
Which brings me to my next bit of info: I love, love, love my children; they are my creativity, my inspiration, my muses. I also love good wine, adventure books, woolies beef lasagne and a freshly mowed lawn on a summer's morning (but autumn is my favourite season!). I'm married to the most wonderful man in the world, who happens to also be my biggest fan. I love pictures and old photo albums - I actually do want to see Aunty Ida's Garden Route Holiday pics from 1983!
I have the most amazing people to thank for my start into the world of photography. Matty Weinmann (my stepdad) is a brilliant wildlife photographer; a few years ago he came down from Germany on holiday and gave me his Canon 20D camera, and more recently he gifted me his Canon 5D! with my Mom as support and guide...the rest, as they say, is history. I was hooked!
I take portrait & event photo's on-location in natural light, my photography style is unposed, candid, real, laid-back, fun and never rushed. I mostly shoot kids parties, family events & portraits.
